Using Social Media

Your online  Presence will be very important as an Illustrator as lots of Clients will spot your work this way as it is a good way to get recognised and a following for your work .  so it is a really good idea to have a few sites just for your work online and in particular on Social media sites.

Tips for facebook

- Images for facebook tend to be more engaging
- about 100-250 characters for text posts.

-Its provides

* Two way conversation.
* Feedback
* A chance to promote yourself with Exclusive deals and Promos
* Timing-  You can Relate your posts to dates that are popular , for example holidays and events.
*  The chance to reply to your followers.
* Opportunities to provide Sneak peeks of your work to gain hype.
* You can schedule your posts for when people are online to see your work .
* you can link posts to your website.
* you can queue posts so you can still post even when you yourself are not available.
